HORT SOCIETY EVENT - GROUP SEED ORDERING OPPORTUNITY.

The Community Room at the Public Library has been booked January 12, 2014 for our members only Seed Ordering Party. January 12th is a Sunday so the library opens at 1:30 p.m. & closes at 5:00 p.m. The idea is by combining seed orders, members should save on shipping costs. You must be a member to attend & please pre-register by calling Penny Dodd at 403-380-3809.

​Membership is $25 - gets you discounts at local stores, great speakers, newsletters, etc.​

​Speaker this month Jan 27th is all about tool maintenance and a BOOK EXCHANGE.

To say thank-you for allowing us to tap into their water system these past 2 years, please stop by Coaldale Long Term Care/Urgent Care (The old hospital on 11th street) at your convenience for 20 minutes or so and help with weeding out front or in their courtyard garden.  If you have any questions, stop at their front desk and ask for Henny.  If you have any resources or skills with xeroscaping, they would love some help with that.  Also contact Henny 403-892-6162.
